Return & Refund Policy – Buy Bed UK
At Buy Bed UK, we take pride in crafting bespoke, handmade furniture tailored to your specifications. Due to the made-to-order nature of our products, our return and refund policies are designed to ensure fairness, clarity, and quality assurance.
1. Custom-Made Products (Beds & Furniture)
All our beds and furniture are handmade to order, which means:

Returns and exchanges are not accepted for issues such as:
- Incorrect size or fit
- Change of mind
- Fabric or colour preference after delivery
- We recommend measuring your space carefully and adding an extra 20cm to each dimension.
- Complimentary fabric samples are available upon request to help with fabric selection.
2. Cooling-Off Period
- You may cancel your order within 36 hours of placing it.
- After this period, production begins and no cancellations or refunds can be offered.
- This applies strictly, with no exceptions.
3. Return Eligibility for Manufacturing Defects
If your item has a manufacturing defect, it may be eligible for return or replacement under these conditions:
- You notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
- You provide photo or video evidence of the defect.
- Our technician or engineer verifies the issue.
4. Return Summary
- Returns accepted: Only for eligible defects
- Return window: Within 14 days for approved returns
- Return shipping fee: Flat rate of £80.00
- Restocking fee: 60% of the order value
- Mattresses: Non-returnable once used (per Consumer Contracts Regulations)
5. Damaged or Missing Items
Upon delivery:
- Inspect packaging for any damage before signing.
- Report any visible damage or missing parts within 24 hours.
- Claims made after 24 hours will not be accepted.
- If your item is damaged, contact us with images and a detailed description.
6. Failed Collections & Access Issues
- If a scheduled delivery or collection fails due to customer unavailability, a £70 charge will apply.
- Items must be ready on the ground floor for collection.
- If delivery cannot be completed due to access restrictions, up to 50% of the item value may be charged.
7. Environmental Commitment
We strive to minimize unnecessary returns to reduce waste. Our policies reflect both environmental responsibility and our commitment to crafting custom furniture built to last.
